Information we collect
Email address
When you join the waitlist we store your email address in a secure database. We use it for one purpose: to notify you when Facet launches. We do not sell, rent, or share your email with third parties.
Photos submitted for analysis
Photos you submit are processed in memory to generate your facial score and improvement roadmap. They are deleted immediately after analysis completes — never written to disk, never stored in a database, never used for training. We have no record of any photo you submit.
Usage data
We may collect standard server logs (IP address, browser type, pages visited) for security and diagnostic purposes. This data is not linked to your identity and is retained for no longer than 30 days.
How we use your data
- To notify you when Facet is available (email only, once).
- To deliver your facial analysis and personalised roadmap.
- To maintain the security and performance of our service.
We will never use your data for advertising or sell it to any third party.
Data storage and security
Waitlist emails are stored in Supabase, a SOC 2-compliant cloud database hosted on AWS infrastructure in the EU. Transactional emails are sent via Resend. Both services are bound by data processing agreements that prohibit use of your data beyond service delivery.
All data is transmitted over TLS. Access to the database is restricted to Facet engineers and requires multi-factor authentication.
Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete the personal data we hold about you. To exercise any of these rights, email us at contact@facetapp.online and we will respond within 30 days.
To be removed from the waitlist at any time, email us with the subject line Unsubscribe and we will delete your record immediately.
Cookies
Facet does not use tracking cookies or third-party analytics. We do not run any advertising pixels.
Children
Facet is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you believe we have done so inadvertently, contact us and we will delete the record immediately.
Changes to this policy
If we make material changes to this policy we will update the effective date above and, where appropriate, notify waitlist members by email before the changes take effect.
